I booked a few nights at the HOFHut as a mini-moon for my wife and I to decompress after our wedding and we were not disappointed. The hut is cosy, immaculately clean and has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. From the wood burner to the shower, from the hot chocolate maker to the dressing gowns - everything is just perfect. Oh and that’s not even before I’ve talked about the sauna, the onsen and the bar. We had horrible weather but that made everything so much more cosy. Sitting in the pool in the dark and rain was very atmospheric, and the bio-ethanol fire in the bar warmed us up afterwards. Siobhan is a wonderful host. We had homemade apple crumble on arrival and pigs in blankets the next day. She also went above and beyond by providing painkillers and cold remedies when my other half got sick while we were there. The eucalyptus oil in the sauna helped enormously! This is a little slice of heaven. Siobhan has created something incredibly special. Thank you!

We stayed in the HOF hut and WOW what an absolute heaven! The hut was equipped with everything you could want, super cosy, clean and comfy! We loved all the personal touches throughout! The hot tub, sauna and outdoor area was incredible we enjoyed it soo much! And Siobhan made us feel so comfortable with homemade crumble on arrival, informing us of local events on and pigs in blankets for our cosy night in. I can’t recommend enough! I will be coming back again and again and again what a gem of a place! You won’t regret it! Xx

Well what can we say. This was our second visit to the fabulous Hof Hut and to be honest it wasn't long enough. If you like complete peace, Total relaxation, beautiful scenery, cleanliness and superb hosts who's design ideas are to be admired then the Hof Hut is an absolute must. Only a short drive to some fabulous walks/hikes with unbelievable scenery from the Tors or just stay at the hut and relax in the Sauna or relax in the Japanese Onsen or enjoy a sneaky drink in the outdoor bar, whatever you choose you are guaranteed a superb break. We personally cannot wait for our next visit.

We absolutely loved, loved, loved the Hoff Hut, from the moment we arrived away from quite stressful lives the smell of 'big bertha' as you drive in was wonderful. Siobhan and Tim were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The Hut is very comfortable with beautiful unique touches, the Onsen is amazing - you can float for hours watching the world go by, the view is super with wildlife, trees and the crazy English summer weather to watch. The bar makes you feel very special as it is set up just for two with a fire and marshmallows. The local area is fantastic to explore with short or long walks and the local pub was great - we had a Friday night there and it was really entertaining with wonderful drinks and good company. Overall staying at the Hoof Hut was unforgettable and a very special place. We will be booking again.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at HofHut and had the most amazing time. We had absolutely everything we could've asked for including marshmallows to toast and a cream tea when we arrived. The whole plot is a gorgeous and relaxing creation with the onsen, spa, honesty bar, pizza oven, toasting shed and more we really felt we were on a retreat. Lots of nice walks around the area to explore and Siobhan was always there when we had any questions. Thank you again for the most amazing stay, we will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing stay at HOF Hut. Siobhan has thought of everything to make this a perfect experience. The Hut itself is extremely comfortable, with all the luxuries you need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed sitting in the bar in the evening, with its warming ‘fire pit’. The sauna is a real treat but the piece de resistance has to be the gorgeous onsen which Siobhan keeps lovely and hot to provide a really unique experience. Overall it is incredibly relaxing, indulgent and enjoyable. Siobhan is a great host and clearly makes a huge effort to ensure her guests have the best time. We would thoroughly recommend the HOF Hut to anyone.

Can you unwind in just one night? Well it's possible and we've just done it at HOF Hut! The Hut & all the facilities have been hand-crafted by the owners and it shows- it's personal, quirky, very inventive, creative and unique The Hut is full of creative wooden features everywhere you turn and has everything you need. The Japanese Onsen is bigger than any hot tub I've been in so you can float (even with someone else in there with you) – I didn't want to leave it and all the heating of the water was done for us which was a big plus.Your muscles and mind will thank you for it, as feeling the feeling of peace takes over. There's a well stocked honesty bar and the fire kept us super warm after our dip. They have even built a sauna (super easy to use whenever you want) and toasting shed for toasting marshmallows- it's all really magical and presented in such a way you don’t even notice the rain- it's all under cover so nothing spoils your relaxation. Situated on a hill you can see the weather coming in from Yes Tor on Dartmoor. In every area of the Hut and its fabulous facilities you are surrounded by nature & birds of every kind but yet its still a quick hop to the pub (recommend for decent pub grub and cosy atmosphere). If you are looking for a place to quickly unwind, and with complete privacy, I suggest you look no further than HOF Hut. I certainly didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

We had a brilliant stay at Little Hof. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, decorated to a high standard throughout and with a garden seating area made extra cosy by strings of outdoor lights. Siobhan is a wonderful host - thank you so much for the lovely cream tea upon arrival! The cottage is ideally situated for exploring Dartmoor, and is only a short stroll to the village pub! A perfect retreat for couples. We'll definitely be back!
